This  large format thick 260page book in english and italian written by Franco Zagari initially tells the story of three characters ( Daimler , Maybach and Benz ) that gave birth to the Mercedes , then shows 478 images captioned in english & italian , of the 478 pix many have never been seen before and they are enhanced by substantial captions , illustrating the most important models of mercedes series production and racing  , including the silver arrows , the technical details of the cars and above all the races in which they participated , dominating , until the year 1957. Images of Grand Prix , the Mille Miglia , the Targa Florio , the Pescara Circuit or attempts at speed records alternate with photographs illustrating prototypes or pre-series cars made ​​by the best Italian and german coachbuilders .Book has italian & english text.
